Week 8: Oct 30- Nov. 3
Objectives
By the end of this week students will have:
- finished the work not completed in week 7
- discussed about the "Death of CAD"
- designed a space using a 3D building application
- written a descriptive paragraph of the space built
- recorded the text of the descriptive paragraph
Activities
Tuesday & Thursday
1. Discuss in class about the "Death of CAD"
- Do you agree? Why?
- Do you disagree? Why?
2. Go to our multiverse unit, part 3 and complete the activities
| Instructions for the activities |
- After designing your space, post the screenshots to your wiki (create a new page for this activity)
| NOTE: you will take several screenshots of the different stages in the building process, and the different planes of the completed work. Add all your images to the wiki. |
- Write the description of your space in Moodle, week 8, in My Space forum for correction. Once it has been corrected, post it in your wiki on the same page where you posted the images.
- Record your description using Springdoo, and post it to the wiki
- Now you will create a photo album with all your images:
a. Go to BubleShare
b. Register (click on create account - upper right corner). Don´t forget to write down your username and password.
c. Create an album, by uploading all the images you took of the space created.
d. A link will be sent to your e-mail when your album has been created.
e. Go to your album, and record a description for each image.
f. Share your album with your teacher and classmates.
g. Post the link to your album in your wiki page.
h. Write comments to your classmates.
